Jargon: Announcement Lists are just outgoing announcements posted by those with authority to do so. Discussion lists allow all subscribers to post their own thoughts to the list; all e-mails to discussion lists are delivered to everyone on the list.

Locally elected officials and relevant governmental staff are welcome on any of the NBCA lists. NBCA reserves the right to remove subscribers from the list if they do not meet the criteria for subscriptions to each individual list and to remove subscribers who use profanity, engage in name-calling or use the list for purposes other than that for which the list was intended.
